While Firefly provides secure attachment points and all electrical and liquid propane connections, you will need to buy a 100lb vertical refillable propane tank and plug in a 6,000+ watt generator.

Once your food trailer is completed and paid for in full, it can be picked up at our facility in Santa Clarita, CA or shipped to you at your arrangement and expense. 

A mandatory, one-hour walkthrough at pick up ensures that your trailer is working perfectly before it leaves our facility. Basic training on how to operate and maintain your food trailer are also provided at this time. Walkthroughs can either be in-person or videocall.

The Workhorse Food Trailer is built to California Retail Food Code and has already passed many Health Department inspections throughout California.

However, every town, city and state is allowed to set their own standards when it comes to permitting a mobile food facility. This makes it impossible for a food trailer design to be universally approved everywhere.

After purchasing your trailer, Firefly will send you:

• Step-by-step guide to passing Mobile Food Facility / health department inspection
• Set of food trailer plan drawings
• Set of equipment specification sheets

If you wish to submit a mobile food facility permit application to your city prior to purchasing your trailer, you can pay a non-refundable fee of $250 to access the plans and specification sheets. Your $250 will be applied to the purchase price of any truck or trailer you buy with Firefly.
